Hey there, you’ve found me

My name is Tracey Chan and I help people who value their time (and prefer being with family) to plan their special moments and occasions.

I believe creating space to celebrate important events with family and friends is important. Our lives are so busy, we forget to slow down and savour the special bits.

That’s where I come in.

From engagements, weddings, birthdays through baby showers, I’m a stress reliever, a wing-woman, and an organisational powerhouse. I give you back your time so you can cherish the anticipation and excitement with your loved ones, without second-guessing the details.

You’re here because there’s a magnificent celebration ahead and after dabbling in some planning, you don't have time to plan an event. You want it to be magical, but your diary is full and it’s only getting fuller. I can help.


 

Because celebrating is better when it’s easy

I started Special Events by Tracey because I’d always been the wedding and party “go-to-gal”  for friends and family. I’d step in when they were drowning in detail and needed help. Creative and calm under pressure, I find logistics, details and deadlines exciting.

Not for everyone, I know.

I’m weird like that.

Hosting a party or getting married shouldn’t mean you’re a sweaty mess, losing sleep stressing about balloons, napkins or what kind of quiche to serve.  With family, work and life going on, who wants to add to the chaos by sourcing quotes and arranging the decor delivery while you’re juggling dinner or trying to grab ten minutes with the family after a long day?

Make it easy.

The part I enjoy the most is watching the sighs of relief when you give me creative licence and responsibility for your day. Nothing makes me happier than watching happy people celebrating without a care in the world.
